The first Flower Ceremony was held in Prague, in June 1923, led by Rev. Norbert Čapek. For decades, this beloved tradition and its powerful history have provided meaning to hundreds of UU congregations. When individual flowers learn to share sun, rain, air and soil, community blooms. As we sing and listen to the music of Harpeggios, we will ask: can we forgive flowers as easily as we marvel at their beauty? Join DLRE Jesse Greist to ask this important centennial question together.
