“Equanimity:The Blessing of Inner Peace”

In the Buddhist tradition equanimity is one of the four Divine Abodes, and contains elements of the other three: loving kindness, compassion, and joy. In this sermon we will explore equanimity as a mind state, a heart emotion, and a felt sense of calm in the body. A short guided meditation on equanimity will be offered as a way of further cultivating our innate human capacity for peace and balance amidst the ever changing circumstances of our lives.
