Junteenth. Father’s Day. Flower Communion. USNH’s 70th anniversary. Being in community means lifting up the myriad and diverse aspects of our individual lives and nurturing them as they bloom together like a field of wildflowers. What we call Flower Communion was a ritual that first began in 1923 in Prague, in what was then Czechoslovakia, by a Unitarian minister named Norbert Čapek. It has grown and changed through the years, but this Sunday, you are invited to bring fresh cut flowers with you to our Sanctuary to keep this tradition alive and blooming!
