I’m pleased the folks running the annual Canvass wanted me to kick things off. Unlike some ministers, I have no issue at all talking about money, generosity, and the needs of this congregation. I think you can feel proud of this institution, and the values that it stands for, and the evident love in which it undertakes its tasks. Supporting this “Household” of faith is well worth your time and attention and good hope, and I will highlight the ways this place really is a domicile for your dreams and ideals. And, not to be overlooked, your labor and quite practical love.
