Everyone of every age is invited into the main Sanctuary at USNH this week to help answer the question “What stories can help fill the empty spaces left by the now debunked mythology of Thanksgiving?” Rev. Lindasusan and Jesse Greist will be telling some of these stories, which feature both traditional and modern indigenous “heroes” as part of an ongoing effort to reframe the mythology around indigenous people, survival, family, and gratitude. There will also be a time for everyone in the Sanctuary to do some writing or drawing around the theme of “how will each of us fill in the empty/missing spaces in our own lives?” Come ready to listen, heal, and co-create.
