Rev. Mandy Beal

Minister

Rev. Mandy Beal (she/her) has held professional positions in Unitarian Universalist congregations for more than 20 years. She has served congregations in Texas, Massachusetts, Michigan, and Indiana in roles including Religious Education, membership, communications, and several years of ordained ministry. She believes that Unitarian Universalist congregations have the potential to bring people together to build a Beloved Community by engaging in safe and deeply connected fun. She also believes that UU worship services can be transformative experiences that support the healing of the world.

Rev. Mandy trained for the ministry at Andover Newton Theological School when it was a free-standing institution (MDiv 2016). She also earned an MSSW from the University of Texas at Austin (2006) focused on Community and Administrative Leadership. She and her spouse, Jesse Beal (they/them), have two toddlers and two dogs.
